This is because of the increasing demand for a more efficient IT management tools and solutions. Also, the increasing practicality of cloud-based computing has attributed more and more companies to apply ITIL into their systems. IT management (in general) and ITIL can work hand in hand. For instance, both platforms can support an organization's license management, change management, software metering, software deployment, and networking systems. In the near future, IT management, project management, and ITIL will be fully integrated and compatible with each other. ITIL is on the rise now.
