I like the point about focusing on products (vs. focusing on the methodology, which Simon so brilliantly mentioned in the 7th point that is should be tailored to the project, and not the other way around).</description>

When overlooked, this can cause problems for not only the PM and team but the sponsors, including the customer, as well. Loss of trust and credibility from the customer is very possible.
