As a novice/young PM, still learning the ropes, I can recall something I read in Life's Little Instruction book. "80% of all your success will depend on your ability to deal with people." So it's really inspiring that the an experienced PM like yourself highlights the importance of these qualities along side the tools, techniques, and process for managing a project.
