Very good post. It is something that does continually go amiss in projects; we somehow or other decide that project planning and plan management is something separate from delivering the actual project. They are not, and at their most useful they provide common agreed signposts as to how well it's going. This of course is not for your team who will know what's going on but rather the team agreed flags to wave at whatever management team is in place for the project

I believe that collaboration, whether between project manager and team members, or project manager and stakeholders, is crucial for successful projects.

This is a great post. I completely agree that collaboration needs to be a part of every project plan. How can projects move forward if everyone works in a vacuum? They can't. integrating collaboration in with project management is not only a smart thing to do, but a way to move your projects forward successfully.
