Listing the latest Project Management Trainers serving United States

I first became involved in project management quite accidentally! While working in a large organisation which was going through huge change I realised that these changes would only be successful if people delivered projects effectively. But, no one had received any training in this area!
I ran a series of workshops and saw that this was an important area - working to help organisations deliver projects on time and to budget.
I have personally trained many thousands of people to deliver projects effectively. In addition, I have spoken at conferences, coached individuals and worked with project teams. After encouragement from a couple of grateful workshop participants I wrote Deliver That Project - a practical guide to delivering projects.
Alongside this my big project is to make my company Project Agency even more successful. We work with a wide range of clients providing them with project management training alongside developing in-house project management systems to ensure a uniform approach to project delivery.

Started in IT as a programmer way back in 1975 when punch cards were new!
Gradually worked my way up to Project Manager and for about 15 years managed projects in diverse industries such as financial services, oil refining, electricity generation, home shopping, etc.
Eventually I realised that project management was far too hard, so here I am teaching it and loving every minute.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, where I excelled at football, basketball, math, and art. I went to college at Princeton and earned a BS in Engineering. I then entered a career in industry, working in mining, manufacturing, metal fabricating, environmental services, and other related industries. Along the way I earned my MBA from Carnegie Mellon. After about 12 years I made a switch into the information technology field, becoming a Lotus Notes developer. I gradually moved into project management in that field. Today, I am in the project management consulting field, and have several web sites, including Project Management Training Online (pmtrainingonline.com), Lean Six Sigma Training Online (leansixsigmatrainingonline.com), and a growing blog site (PMcrunch.com).

I have worked in the online space as a Project Manager for nine years, and I'm currently the Director of Fulfillment at WebFeat Multimedia Inc., in Toronto. I'm passionate about how marketing is affected by technology and trends in social media. I have worked exclusively in the interactive space for my entire project management career.
I believe that we are only as good as the information we share with one another. Working together, we will advance project management methodologies in a way that makes sense in this technological era of speed and change.

A project manager with 15 years experience in financial services and IT leadership. Known in the project management community through speeches at many PMI Congresses and other events. A leading author on the topic of project charters and the relationship between projects and organizational strategy.

I have been involved in project management for over 13 years and I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). I have served as a project manager on numerous product development teams – some successful, and some, well, not so successful. However, I have learned from every endeavor. Now as a Program Manager for a major company in the Chicago, Illinois area, I manage a group of very talented project managers and in the process, I learn from them, and I hope they also feel that they learn from me. My goal is to provide some of that same knowledge and insight to others through pm411.org, and I hope that you will do the same.

I've been managing projects and programs since 1983. In 2007, I managed to write it "all" down in "Manage It! Your Guide to Modern, Pragmatic Project Management."
I teach Pragmatic Project Management, Iterative/Incremental Development with Scrum, as well as several one-day workshops about pieces of project management (lifecycles, estimation, more to come). All of my workshops are interactive and experiential--you will learn by doing.

I've had 30 years of industry experience, 20 of it as a project manager or supervisor of project managers. I've been PMP Certified since 2000.
Since 1985, as a "side job", I have been teaching adults, first in PC and internet applications, then in Project Management and PMP Certification. I've co-developed a 12-CD PMP Prep course, providing the voice for the audio tracks myself.
I have been developing and delivering PM Master's Certicate courses at a local college and for Boston University's Corporate Education Center for the past several years.
Here's a good part about this: I have fun. Here's a better part: I keep learning from teaching. Which leads to more fun...
and more learning ...and more
teaching...
